17:20 – Officers responded to the 700 block of W 16th St. for a medical call. One female was taken into custody for Joplin City warrants.
23:02 – Officers were dispatched to 119 N. Pennsylvania St. in reference to a disturbance. One male was issued a citation for domestic assault.
Saturday, May 24
00:24 – An officer conducting traffic enforcement near Roane and Daugherty streets observed a green Chevy with defective equipment. One male was taken into custody for driving while revoked.
21:20 – An officer on routine patrol observed a female with active warrants in the parking lot of White Oak Satation, 411 S. Madison St. The 43-year-old female was taken into custody.
23:14 – An officer conducted a traffic stop behind 409 N. Webb St. in reference to a subject with active warrants being in the vehicle. A 31-year-old male was taken into custody for active warrants out our agency and Jasper County.
Sunday, May 25
02:14 – Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of N. Oronogo St. in reference to a suicidal subject. One white female was transported to Mercy Hospital for a 96-hour hold.
13:47 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to a theft which had just occurred.
15:57 – An officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle at Webb and Daugherty streets in reference to a registration violation. The adult male driver was arrested for driving while revoked.
16:00 – An officer was provided a phone number to contact in reference to a firearm that was stolen from a vehicle near Chesterfield Drive and Seventh Street.
18:38 – Officers responded to WCPD for a walk-in report of a past-tense theft that occurred at East and Daugherty Streets.
20:37 – An officer was dispatched to 702 S. Hall St. in reference to found property.
21:55 – An officer was dispatched to Cardinal Towers, 324 N. Tom St. Apt. 312, in reference to a past-tense theft.
Monday, May 26
00:21 – I made a traffic stop near Galena and Liberty streets in reference to a license violation. The vehicle was found to be stolen, and the driver was taken into custody for felony stealing.
19:47 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart for threats. A 53-year-old female was arrested on charges of terroristic threats.
Tuesday, May 27
01:38 – Officers were dispatched to Cardinal Towers, 324 N. Tom St. Apt. 312, in reference to a disturbance. A 19-year-old female was arrested for assault and unlawful use of a weapon.
17:47 – Officers were called to 820 Meadow Circle for a report of theft.
Wednesday, May 28
07:40 – An officer was dispatched to Third and Webb streets in reference to an abandoned vehicle that had been stickered for tow on May 25. The vehicle was towed.
12:21 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to lost property.
13:47 – An officer conducted a traffic stop near Daugherty and East streets for a traffic violation. One 44-year-old male was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia.
15:04 – I was dispatched to East Street and Sharon Drive for a report of a person burning something on the side of the road. One male was taken into custody for warrants.
19:01 – Officers were dispatched to 1229 S. Madison St. in reference to an intoxicated subject. One adult male was taken into custody for a 12-hour hold.
Thursday, May 29
02:45 – An officer was conducting traffic enforcement when he observed a silver Ford Ranger with equipment violations near 1201 S. Madison St. One female was taken into custody for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.
18:30 – Officers were dispatched to Oak and Crow streets for a domestic that just occurred. One male was taken into custody for domestic assault, DWI, and operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.
20:55 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Oak and Crow streets. A male was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated, driving while revoked, and open container of alcohol beverage.
23:25 – An officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of First and Main streets. One male was taken into custody for driving while revoked and an outstanding warrant out of Stone County.
Friday, May 30
06:41 – An officer was dispatched to the intersection of Third and Main streets for a motor vehicle crash.
18:28 – Officers were dispatched to Robert J. Baker Parkway for a suspicious person. A 19-year-old female was taken into custody for possession of marijuana.
19:05 – Officers were dispatched to 953 Country Crossing for a disturbance. A 36-year-old female was arrested on Webb City warrants.
22:08 – Officers were dispatched to Cardinal Stop, 306 N. Main St., in reference to a stolen dog and stolen tricycle. A 36-year-old male was arrested for stealing.
Saturday, May 31
00:57 – Officers were dispatched to 1848 S. Oronogo St. Apt B for a nuissance complaint. As a result a 42-year-old female was cited for peace disturbance.
14:33 – Officers were called to Walmart for a trespass in progress. One female was arrested.
17:58 – Officers were dispatched to 1768 Chickadee Drive for leaving the scene of an accident.
18:31 – An officer was dispatched to Galena and Tom streets in reference to a well-being check. A 69-year-old male was arrested on Joplin warrants.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
