Monday, Aug. 11

20:56 – Officers were dispatched to 13th and Madison streets for a two-vehicle, non-injury crash.

Tuesday, Aug. 12

18:59 – An officer was dispatched to 527 W. 10th St. in reference to a past-tense theft.

19:37 – An officer was dispatched to Dollar General, 102 N. Madison St., in reference to a shoplifting. One female was taken into custody.

Wednesday, Aug. 13

00:21 – An officer observed a suspicious vehicle in King Jack Park at 631 Dawson Drive after hours. One male was taken into custody for Webb City and Joplin warrants.

04:44 – Officers responded to 414 N. Liberty St. for a domestic in progress. One male was arrested for DWI and domestic assault.

16:55 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at Hall Street and Enterprise Drive. One male was arrested for driving while revoked.

Thursday, Aug. 14

16:32 – Officers were dispatched to Fountain Road and Madison Street for a reported injury crash.

Saturday, Aug. 16

15:56 – Officers responded to 13th and Madison streets for a leaving-the-scene accident. The suspect vehicle was located, and the driver was taken into custody for DWI, leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash and driving while suspended.

19:30 – I was dispatched to 739 N. Oak St. in reference to property damage.

22:36 – I was dispatched to a suspicious vehicle at 536 N. East Street. The abandoned vehicle was towed.

23:29 – I observed a vehicle on Madison Street at 12th Street traveling at a high rate of speed. The 40-year-old male driver was arrested for DWI.

Sunday, Aug. 17

02:16 – An officer located a crashed vehicle blocking the road at Madison and Fourth streets. Upon further investigation, the 25-year-old male driver was cited and arrested for careless and imprudent driving, failure to show valid proof of insurance, no valid operators license, and driving while intoxicated.

06:44 – I stopped a vehicle at Arch and Tom streets for a traffic violation. A female was arrested for driving suspended.

09:47 – Officers responded to 1432 Matthew Circ;e for a domestic in progress. One male was taken into custody for domestic assault and taken to the hospital.

10:00 – I was dispatched to 404 N. Main St. for a report of harassment. The subject will be sent a citation in the mail.

13:30 – I received a call for service at Walmart in reference to a past-tense trespass on Aug. 15.

21:12 – Officers were dispatched to Cardinal Towers, 324 N. Tom St., in reference to a trespass in progress. One adult male was taken into custody for outstanding warrants.

Monday, Aug. 18

08:25 – I stopped a white Ford pickup for speeding on Broadway near Jefferson Street. The driver was found to have a Joplin city warrant and was arrested.

10:35 – I attended a interview at the Children’s Center concerning a juvenile who was sexually abused sometime in 2014 in the 600 block of S. Oakland St. of Webb City.

13:49 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Stadium Drive and Madison Street for speeding. One 30-year-old male was taken into custody for driving while suspended.

13:59 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Madison and Crow streets for a registration violation. The 26-year-old male driver was cited and arrested for failure to register a motor vehicle, failure to show valid proof of insurance, and driving while revoked.

Tuesday, Aug. 19

07:34 – Officers responded to 609 N. Tom St. for a report of a stolen vehicle.

07:36 – An officer was southbound on Main Street approaching Daugherty Street when a vehicle with expired license plates was observed. The 29-year-old male was arrested for a warrant.

07:38 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Oronogo and Seventh street for a speeding violation in the school zone. The 31-year-old male driver was cited for exceeding the posted speed limit in a school zone and arrested for driving while revoked and driving while intoxicated.

08:01 – I was dispatched to the 1800 block of S. Oronogo St. for a runaway juvenile. He was later found at a convenience store not far away.

10:39 – I was dispatched to 819 W. Daugherty St. for a past-tense property damage, and leaving-the-scene accident.

13:43 – Officers were dispatched to Broadway and Daugherty Street for a motor vehicle crash.

16:59 – Officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to a theft. A 38-year-old male was cited for failure to register a motor vehicle, and arrested for shoplifting and a warrant out of Atchison County, Mo.

Wednesday, Aug. 20

13:44 – I received a call for service at 1426 S. Jefferson St. in reference to a physical disturbance. A male was arrested and a report was taken.

18:33 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting. Charges are being submitted to the state prosecutor for shoplifting.

19:14 – An officer was dispatched to 1605-252 S. Ellis St. in reference to a past-tense property damage.

21:55 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Madison and 14th streets for defective equipment. A 42-year-old woman was arrested for DWI.

Thursday, Aug. 21

08:50 – An officer was dispatched to 128 S. Madison St. in reference to tampering a motor vehicle.

12:45 – Officers were dispatched to Casey’s, 337 S. Main St., in reference to an assault that had just taken place.

17:29 – Officers were dispatched to 823 S. Jefferson St. in reference to a domestic in progress. One 28-year-old female was issued a citation for assault.

19:43 – Officers were dispatched to 800 N. Madison St. in reference to a disturbance that was occurring. A 30-year-old female was issued a citation for assault.

Friday, Aug. 22

07:08 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Main and Aylor streets for speed. A 19-year-old male was arrested for no driver’s license.

14:58 – I was dispatched to 1312 S. Madison St. for a disturbance. A female was later taken into custody for assault.

20:30 – A female walked into WCPD to report somebody who trespassed at the 1300 block of W. 16th St.

22:12 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Fountain and Ellis streets for a stop sign violation. A 33-year-old male was arrested on a felony warrant out of Jasper County.

Saturday, Aug. 23

00:26 – An officer stopped a vehicle at Eighth and Madison streets for a no-functioning headlight. As a result a 22-year-old male was arrested for DWI.

08:14 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Main and Aylor streets for speed. A 50-year-old female was arrested for no valid driver’s license.

13:36 – Officers were dispatched to 724 Jillian Drive for a report of a domestic in progress.

21:18 – An officer conducted a traffic stop near MacArthur and Colonial drives in reference to traffic violations. One 26-year-old male and one 46-year-old female were taken into custody for outstanding warrants.
