Monday, Aug. 18

10:31 – I was dispatched to the office in reference mail theft from a post office box in the post office, 220 W. Daugherty St. The victim reported someone is stealing his mail.

13:04 – Officers were dispatched to 702 S. Hall St. for a domestic in progress.

15:45 – I arrived at Walmart for a theft. A 59-year-old man was cited for shoplifting.

18:01 – I was dispatched to Madison Street and MacArthur Drive for a two-vehicle, non-injury, traffic crash.

Friday, Aug. 22

19:00 – An officer was contacted about an incident that occurred on Aug. 13 at 1605 S. Ellis St. for a report of property damage.

19:25 – An officer conducted a traffic stop near 13th and Oronogo streets in reference to a moving traffic violation. One 31-year-old male was taken into custody for driving without a valid operator’s license.

Saturday, Aug. 23

07:20 – An officer was dispatched to 702 S. College St. for a report of theft of packages.

21:15 – Officers responded to the 500 block of N Tom St. for a 911 hang up. One 29-year-old male was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Sunday, Aug. 24

01:59 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Madison Street and Fountain Road for improper display. One 34-year-old male was taken into custody for driving while suspended.

12:05 – Officers were dispatched to 1706A Redbird Drive for a well-being check. The caller reported a woman was at her home asking for help. A 38-year-old woman was arrested for being a felony fugitive from justice after an aggravated assault warrant was located out of Kansas.

16:02 – Officers were dispatched to King Jack Park for a disturbance. A 24-year-old woman was arrested on an active Carthage warrant. Charges were later sent for peace disturbance.

16:34 – An officer was dispatched to 315 W. Austin St. for a report of littering.

19:45 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a theft.

20:35 – Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash at East and First streets.

Monday, Aug. 25

11:28 – I received a call for service at 1141 W. Crow St. in reference to trespass in progress. A male was subsequently arrested for trespassing.

20:31 – I was dispatched to a person missing from 216 N. Roane St. A report was taken and after a short period of time, the person was located.

20:38 – Officers were dispatched to 1024 W. Daugherty St. in reference to a disturbance in progress. One adult male was mailed a citation for property damage.

Tuesday, Aug. 26

09:15 – An officer was dispatched to 4530 Pool Road in reference to property damage that took place during the early hours of Aug. 26.

11:08 – I received a call for service at Sixth and Ellis streets for property damage to a vehicle.

11:18 – Officers were dispatched to Atwoods, 220 S. East Street, for a shoplifting in progress. Two males were taken into custody. One was for shoplifting, and the second was transported to Jasper County jail for warrants.

14:40 – An officer was dispatched to the roundabout in reference to a two-vehicle crash with no injuries.

Wednesday, Aug. 27

08:23 – I was dispatched to the station in reference to an assault at Daugherty and Madison streets. A report of domestic violence was sent to the Jasper County Juvenile Office.

09:40 – I was dispatched to 1338 W. 16th #B, for a past-tense theft.

13:46 – While we were on scene at the roundabout for oil that had been spilled in the roadway, a motorcycle crashed in the roundabout due to the road surface being slick.

21:05 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Broadway and Madison Street for expired plates. One 18-year-old male was taken into custody for DWI-drugs and endangering the welfare of a child.

21:12 – Officers were dispatched to 211-F Wingfield Drive in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival it was determined one party had already left prior to arrival.

22:15 – I responded to the 700 block of S. Madison St. for a two-car crash with minor injuries.

Thursday, Aug. 28

05:01 – Officers responded to a package being stolen from 1521 Brewster Lane.

07:35 – I was dispatched to Crow and Oronogo streets for a two-vehicle, non-injury accident.

15:04 – I conducted a traffic stop on Mac Arthur Drive near Ball Street. The driver was taken into custody for operating a vehicle without a valid license. He was fingerprinted and later released.

22:05 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at Madison Street and Mt. Hope Cemetery for no lights. A 48-year-old male was arrested for operating with no driver’s license.

Friday, Aug. 29

01:57 – Officers contacted a suspicious vehicle in King Jack Park past park hours. One 28-year-old male was taken into custody on a Joplin City warrant.

04:52 – An officer observed an individual with a warrant at Main and Galena streets. The 26-year-old male was arrested on warrants.

12:07 – I was dispatched to 1002 S. Jefferson St. for a theft from motor-vehicle.

13:28 – I received a call for service at Colonial and MacArthur drives in reference to a motor vehicle accident.

16:53 – Officers were dispatched to Gold Dust Drive and 14th Street. in reference to a male in the area with possible warrants. One 34-year-old male was taken into custody for outstanding warrants.

20:42 – Oofficers conducting neighborhood enforcement in the area of First and Tom streets were informed that a male in the area had felony warrants. The male was located and taken into custody for probation violation warrants, and fugitive from justice probable cause paperwork was sent to the state prosecuting attorney.

Saturday, Aug. 30

11:11 – I was dispatched to 1125-1/2 W. Fourth St. for a report of harassment.

21:45 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at East and Daugherty streets for registration violation. The 32-year-old male driver was arrested for no valid driver’s license.
