Tuesday, Sept. 2

08:24 – An officer was dispatched to 214 Suzanne Lane for a report of stolen items.

Friday, Sept. 5

21:35 – Officers were dispatched to 66 Sports Bar and Restaurant, 660 E. Daugherty St., in reference to a fight in progress.

Saturday, Sept. 6

01:41 – An officer observed a vehicle not parked close enough to the curb. A 68-year-old female was arrested for DWI.

17:48 – An officer was dispatched to the 1500 block of Anderson Drive for a possible found missing person. Charges were sent to the Jasper County Juvenile Office.

20:34 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at Madison and Eighth streets for lane violations. A 28-year-old female was taken into custody for DWI-drugs and endangering the welfare of a child.

Sunday, Sept. 7

00:53 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Webb Street and Broadway in reference to a stop sign violation. The 35-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

13:55 – An officer was dispatched to 420 W. Fourth St. for a report of a motor vehicle crash.

16:06 – Officers were dispatched to 224 S. Madison St. for a report of burglary in progress.

22:19 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Austin and Webb streets for an equipment violation. One 22-year-old male was taken into custody for DWI.

22:35 – I responded to the 1400 block of N. Main St. in reference to a harassment call.

22:59 – Officers responded to the 800 block of W. Austin St. for a gas leak.

Monday, Sept. 8

12:46 – An officer was dispatched to Atwoods, 220 S. East St., in reference to a theft from motor vehicle that took place on at about 12:12 hours.

16:00 – I was dispatched to WCPD for a motor vehicle accident that had occurred at Seventh and Madison streets.

18:25 – Officers were dispatched to WCPD in reference to a burglary that had just occurred.

18:49 – An officer on routine patrol observed a male subject identified to have two felony probation warrants for his arrest exit the residence at 119 N. Pennsylvania St. He retreated back in the residence once he saw the officer. At 23:25 hours, the male was taken into custody after numerous attempts to get him to come out of the house on his own accord.

23:51 – On 09/08/2025 at 2351 hours an officer conducted a traffic stop at Madison st and 3rd as result, one adult male was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant and a report was created.

Tuesday, Sept. 9

08:42 – An officer was contacted in reference to a violation of an adult protection order that took place at about 08:30 hours. Charges were forwarded to the Jasper County Prosecutor’s Office for review.

12:40 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD in reference to a theft from motor vehicle that took place at 2006 Spruce St. between 22:15 hours on Sept. 8 and 07:15 hours on Sept. 9.

12:50 – A subject came into the police department for a background check for a local housing authority. As a result, one 58-year-old male was taken into custody for outstanding warrants.

17:29 – Officers responded to Ellis Street and MacArthur Drive for a motor vehicle crash.

18:23 – Officers were dispatched to the roundabout in reference to a non-injury motor vehicle accident.

Wednesday, Sept. 10

04:04 – Officers responded to 1620 S. College St. for a suspicious person. A male was taken into custody for stealing from a motor vehicle and unlawful entry to a motor vehicle.

16:46 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Madison and First streets. One 31-year-old female was taken into custody for no valid drivers license and a federal deportation warrant.

17:24 – An officer was at Oronogo Street and MacArthur Drive at the time of a motor vehicle crash.

18:46 – A female walked into the police station to report somebody had stolen her identity in the 300 block of Swaden Lane.

23:12 – Officers were dispatched to 2587 N. Range Line Road for a trespass in progress. A 29-year-old female was arrested on a Newton County warrant.

Thursday, Sept. 11

10:58 – An officer while on general patrol was notified about a vehicle crash north of Zora Street and Range Line Road.

18:24 – Officers responded to the 300 block of S. Pennsylvania St. for a Department of Family Services assist. Two children were removed from the home and a police investigation was initiated.

19:33 – Officers were dispatched to 825 E. Linden St. for an animal call. A 45-year-old female was mailed citations for animal at large.

23:09 – Officers went to the 25 S. Hall St. to check an open storage unit. A male was arrested for trespassing.

Friday, Sept. 12

17:19 – An officer was dispatched to Daugherty and Washington streets in reference to a three-vehicle crash, with no reported injuries.

20:22 – Officers were dispatched to Gold Stream Drive and Fountain Road for a suspicious person. A 28-year-old male was taken into custody for warrants and felony resisting.

Saturday, Sept. 13

11:00 – I was dispatched to MacArthur and Powell drives, for a motor vehicle accident.
