Friday, Jan. 9

10:13 – Officers were dispatched to Atwoods, 220 S. East St. in reference to a theft in progress. One male was taken into custody for shoplifting.

Sunday, Jan. 11

19:35 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at Madison Street and Mt. Hope Road for lane violations. A 31-year-old male was arrested for DWI-drugs.

20:19 – Officers made a traffic stop at Mount Hope Road and Madison Street. A 52-year-old female was arrested for DWI, driving while suspended, and open container.

Monday, Jan. 12

07:26 – I was dispatched to Walmart for a reported careless and imprudent driver. Subject was contacted and will be sent a citation in the mail.

10:22 – I was dispatched to the 900 block of W. Third St. for a report of a possible suicidal subject / missing person. Information report was taken.

12:28 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at MacArthur Drive and Ellis Street for a lane violation. A 51-year-old male was arrested on a felony warrant.

16:36 – I was dispatched to Walmart for a report of shoplifting. The subject was taken into custody.

16:51 – Officers were dispatched to Tee Time, 520 E. Broadway, in reference to a theft from a vehicle.

16:57 – I responded to the station for a report of sexual content being sent to a minor through the internet in the 700 block of S. Walker St. A report of child enticement was taken.

19:16 – Officers responded to Range Line Road and Zora Street for a minor injury crash. One male was taken into custody for operating a motor vehicle with no drivers license.

21:25 – A report was taken for an incident of ongoing harassment that occurred at Route 66 Sports Bar, 660 E. Daugherty St.

Tuesday, Jan. 13

09:08 – I received a call for service at 216 N. Roane St. in reference to the theft of two cellular telephones.

10:07 – Officers were dispatched to 224 N. Washington St. for a disturbance. A 38-year-old woman was arrested on an active Duenweg traffic warrant.

11:06 – I arrived at the station in reference to a theft at Take-A-Break, 417 S. Main St. The victim reported someone fraudulently used his stolen credit card at that location.

14:58 – I received a call for service at Colonial and MacArthur drives in reference to a motor vehicle accident.

Wednesday, Jan. 14

08:51 – Officers were dispatched to 1920 S. Hall St. in reference to a suspicious vehicle. A 16-foot enclosed trailer was recovered.

12:46 – An officer was dispatched to Prairie Flower Road and MacArthur Drive in reference to a non-injury motor vehicle accident.

17:25 – An officer was dispatched to 1024 Hillside Drive in reference to property damage that occurred between 1500-1600 hours on Jan. 14.

18:49 – An officer was dispatched to MacArthur Drive and East Street in reference to a two-vehicle, non-injury, motor vehicle crash.

22:04 – Officers observed Chevy Equinox with a license plate that didn’t belong to the vehicle. The male driver, age 68, was arrested on two Webb City warrants.

Thursday, Jan. 15

I was made aware of a past-tense report of possible child abuse from a Division of Family Services investigator. The alleged incident(s) were believed to have taken place in the 700 block of S. Madison St. in Webb City and possibly the 2500 block of Kentucky Avenue in Joplin.

15:44 – I conducted a traffic stop on Hall Street near Fountain Road. The subject was taken into custody for no valid drivers license. He was fingerprinted and released with a court date.

19:54 – Officers responded to the 700 block of W. Cardinal Drive for a suicidal subject. A 28-year-old male was placed on a 96-hour mental commit.

Friday, Jan. 16

09:26 – I received a call for service 3 S. Colonial Drive in reference to a theft of property.

13:40 – I was dispatched to 1011 W. MacArthur Drive for a report of an intoxicated driver. The caller reported watching as a man stumbled around in the store and smelled of alcohol. The caller watched as the man re-entered his car and began to drive away. The 45-year-old male driver was stopped at MacArthur Drive and Oronogo Street and arrested for driving while intoxicated and possession of an open container of intoxicants.

17:10 – I received a call for service at 1326 W. Austin St. in reference to a storage shed and garage on fire.

Friday, Jan. 17

I was dispatched to the roundabout for a motor vehicle accident.
