20:08 – An officer responded to Seventh and Madison streets for a report of an abandoned vehicle with the windows smashed.
Saturday, March 28
12:48 – Officers were dispatched to US Cellular in reference to a male urinating on the dumpster.
Sunday, March 29
09:39 – An officer observed a black/red-in-color Honda Grom (street-legal mini motorcycle) at the intersection of Cedar and Broadway without a license plate and conducted a traffic stop. A 21-year-old male was taken into custody for operating without a valid license.
12:06 – An officer observed a red-in-color sedan fail to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Galena and Tom streets and conducted a traffic stop. 31-year-old male was taken into custody for driving without a valid license.
13:05 – Officers were dispatched to 920 Megan Lane for a reported theft.
19:11 – An officer conducting patrol near Oronogo Street and MacArthur Drive observed a vehicle with moving violations. A traffic stop was conducted at Fifth and Oronogo streets and one male was taken into custody for driving while suspended.
Monday, March 30
09:59 – At the address of 306 N. Main St., officers were called to a vandalism call.
10:32 – I was dispatched to a dog bite at 1129 Meadow View Drive. The victim didn’t wish to pursue charges at this time.
11:30 – A city employee located a tool bag in the roadway near Dominos Pizza, 604 S. Madison St.
14:38 – Officers were called to Gene Hatfield Drive and Main Street for a check well-being on a dark-in-color Nissan Altima. The vehicle was located and the female driver, age 23, was arrested for DWI-drugs.
20:15 – An officer was dispatched to 821 W. Third St. in reference to past-tense property damage.
21:51 – An officer was dispatched to Casey’s, 337 S. Main St., in reference to found property. The item was collected and placed into evidence until the owner could be contacted.
Tuesday, March 31
08:39 – Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of W. First St. in reference possession of child pornography.
09:17 – Officers were dispatched to a check well-being at Casey’s, 337 S. Main St. One adult male, age 35, was arrested for a felony warrant out of Newton County. One adult female, age 35, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia
11:50 – An officer was dispatched to WCPD reference a subject with an active arrest warrant.
13:57 – Officers took a walk-in report for a backpack and suit case that were found at King Jack Park by the soccer fields.
14:28 – I was dispatched to Walmart for a shoplifting in progress. The suspects did leave prior to my arrival.
16:50 – I was dispatched to WCPD for a report of fraud that occurred at 419 W. Rudondo Drive.
17:14 – Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of N. Liberty St. in reference to a subject threatening people with a knife. One juvenile was detained and transported to the hospital for a mental evaluation.
19:58 – An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a theft.
22:45 – An officer conducted a traffic stop at East and Daugherty streets in reference to multiple lane violations. The 50-year-old female driver was arrested for DWI.
Wednesday, April 1
20:59 – Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of W. Third St. in reference to a suicidal subject. A 24-year-old female was placed on a 96-hour-hold.
07:34 – I received a call for service at Walmart to check the well-being of a child.
13:40 – On 04-01-2026 at approximately 1340 hours an officer was dispatched to Macarthur and East for a found license plate. As a result a report was taken.
15:44 – Officers were dispatched to 1408 Mary Lane Apt B in reference to a children’s Division assist. As a result a report was taken.
17:24 – A report was taken for an incident of fraud that occurred at 502 W. Fourth St.
23:29 – An officer on patrol observed a red Toyota Corolla with equipment violations near Vine and Pennsylvania streets. One male and one female were taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance.
Thursday, April 2
10:27 – Officer’s were dispatched to the intersection of Madison and 13th streets for a motor vehicle crash.
16:05 – Officers were dispatched to 910 S Madison St. in reference to suspicious items found behind the dumpster of HTeaO.
20:26 – Officers were dispatched to 306 N. Main St. for a suspicious person. A 52-year-old male was taken into custody for drinking in public places.
20:46 – I made a traffic stop near MacArthur Drive and Oakland Street in reference to a stolen license plate. One adult male was taken into custody for driving while revoked and an outstanding warrant.
Friday, April 3
11:39 – Officers responded to a theft at Walmart, where a male, age 22, was arrested for shoplifting.
13:22 – I was dispatched to 1400 W. Austin St. for a domestic in progress. A male was later cited for domestic assault.
14:16 – Officers responded to a theft at Walmart, where a female, age 49, was arrested for shoplifting.
19:26 – Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of W. Austin St. in reference to a possible disturbance. A 46-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault 2nd degree and property damage 1st degree.
Saturday, April 4
I was dispatched to Walmart for a suspicous person. He took off running when I attempted to make contact with him. The subject was later captured after a foot pursuit and was transported to the city jail for shoplifting and resisting arrest.
09:24 – An officer was dispatched to 1165 Country Crossing in reference to a vehicle that was struck sometime overnight.
11:06 – Officers responded to the roundabout in response to a motor vehicle collison.
11:57 – Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Main Street and MacArthur Drive for a two vehicle crash with no injuries.
12:10 – I was dispatched to Madison and 13th streets for a report of a motor vehicle accident.
16:31 – Officers were dispatched to a theft in progress at Walmart. A short while later, a female, age 27, and a male, age 32, were arrested for shoplifting.
19:42 An officer conducted a traffic stop at 12th and Washington streets in reference to expired license plates. A 54-year-old male driver was cited and arrested for expired license plates and driving while revoked.
