Monday, May 12

11:58 – I arrived at 1836-7C S. Oronogo St. for a theft. A former resident wanted to report her washer, dryer, and furniture were stolen from her husband’s apartment.

19:30 – An officer certified as a drug recognition expert was dispatched to the Jasper County Jail for a requested evaluation.

Tuesday, May 13

07:07 – I responded to 925 N. Walker St. for a complaint of animal at large. The caller reported that she and her dogs were charged by a loose dog from 906 N. Walker St. She signed a complaint.

14:11 – I was dispatched to a two-vehicle, non-injury crash near Oronogo and Fourth streets.

Thursday, May 15

22:04 – An officer conducting traffic enforcement observed a blue Chevy passenger car with moving violations near First and Main streets. A traffic stop was conducted and a female was taken into custody for Joplin City warrants.

Friday, May 16

02:38 – Officers responded to 1322 W. Austin St. for threats that had just occurred.

09:00 – An officer on general patrol came across an abandoned vehicle at the intersection of Walker and Noble streets. As of May 21, the vehicle was towed.

15:52 – An officer was dispatched to the roundabout.

16:41 – Officers responded to a non-injury motor vehicle crash near East and Daugherty streets.

18:33 – Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Seventh and Madison streets regarding a non-injury motor vehicle accident involving four vehicles.

Saturday, May 17

19:22 – Officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of 11th and Washington streets for speeding violations. One 34-year-old male was taken into custody for a Jasper County warrant.

Sunday, May 18

09:45 – I was dispatched to 2573 N. Rangeline for a past-tense burglary.

10:16 – Officers were notified that an escapee from Minnesota may have been enroute to 1988 S. Hall St. One male was taken into custody without incident.

13:17 – I was dispatched to 502 N. Devon St. for a past-tense theft.

16:46 – Officers responded to the 500 block of N. Liberty St. in reference to a suicidal subject. One 22-year-old female was placed on a 96-hour commit.

Monday, May 19

00:39 – Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of N. Tom St., where a 62-year-old female was taken to the hospital for a mental commit.

07:10 – An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near Madison and Austin streets in reference to a moving violation in a school zone. One 52-year-old male was cited for speeding and for failing to obey a lawful order.

07:57 – An officer was dispatched to Lawver’s Storage, 2549 S. Hall St., in reference to a past-tense theft that was believed to have occurred during the overnight hours on May 18.

08:23 – I received a call for service at Webb City High School in reference to a fight between two students.

10:48 – An officer was dispatched to 1836 S. Oronogo St. in reference to violations of a protection order that occurred on May 18.

12:07 – I stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver was subsequently arrested for driving while revoked.

12:13 – An officer was dispatched to roundabout in reference to a two-vehicle, non-injury crash.

15:14 – I was dispatched to a disturbance in progress at 1711 Redwood Drive. A female was arrested for warrants but no additional charges were filed at this time.

21:11 – Officers responded to Devon Street at Broadway for an injury crash with possible entrapment. One female was cited for driving while suspended and driving while intoxicated.

Tuesday, May 20

12:05 – The Webb City Special Response team responded to 524 S. Devon St. in reference to a warrant service.

15:00 – I was asked to take a information report on a past-tense child endangerment case that allegedly was being handled by the Division of Family Services. The alleged incident was said to have taken place in the 600 block of S. Hall St.

11:00 – An officer was dispatched to 1707-A Redbird for a abandoned vehicle. As of May 21, the vehicle has been towed.

Wednesday, May 21

14:25 – Officers were dispatched to 409 N. Webb St. for a domestic in progress. A 37-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault and fighting in public..

14:53 – Officers were called to the 700 block of N. Oak St. for a non-injury motor vehicle crash.

15:52 – I was dispatched to 328 S. Main St. for a medical call. While on scene, the patient made statements that he had been assaulted by a family member. A 41-year-old resident was arrested on an active Carterville warrant.

15:52 – I conducted a traffic stop on Oronogo Street near 14th Street. The driver was taken into custody for operating a motor vehicle with no drivers license. The subject was fingerprinted then released with a court date.

16:59 – I was dispatched to MacArthur Drive and Jefferson Street for a two-vehicle, non-injury traffic crash.

18:54 – Officers responded to 302 S. Pennsylvania St. for a past-tense trespassing.

21:15 – Officers were dispatched to 329 S. Liberty St. regarding a past-tense assault.

23:25 – Officers were dispatched to 1402 N. Main St. Apt 2 for a trespass in progress. A citation for trespassing was mailed.

Thursday, May 22

18:19 – An officer was dispatched to the roundabout in reference to a two-vehicle, non-injury crash.

21:01 – I initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of MacArthur Drive and Main Street. A 54-year-old male was taken into custody for active warrants out of the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office.

22:53 – I was dispatched to 1306-D N. Main St. regarding property damage to a parked vehicle.

Friday, May 23

06:57 – I received a call for service at 1301 S Jefferson St. in reference to harassment.

07:39 – An officer was dispatched to the police station lobby to take a past-tense report of theft from motor vehicle which originally occurred the previous evening in the 300 block of S. Pennsylvania St.

07:57 – I stopped a vehicle at Main and Aylor streets for a traffic violation. The driver was subsequently arrested for Joplin City warrants.

09:16 – An officer was dispatched to Hall Street Storage, 25 S. Hall St., in reference to a past-tense burglary.

12:33 – An officer was dispatched to Hall and Galena streets in reference to a two-vehicle, non-injuiry crash.

Saturday, May 24

10:38 – I was dispatched to 709 W. Broadway for a property damage report.

11:28 – An officer was dispatched to 324 N. Tom St., Apt 312, in reference to abandoned property.

12:22 – Officers contacted two subjects at Hall Street Storage in reference to a current investigation. The adult male and adult female were found to have active warrants for their arrest.

17:01 – I was dispatched to 1607 Jefferson Circle for a report of drug activity. One female was taken into custody for inhaling solvent fumes. The house was hot lined due to children being present inside the home.
