Six Webb City students recently won awards in the video category in Pittsburg State University’s annual Crimson Creative Awards contest.
Instructor Bruce Vonder Haar congratulated his students for how they showed off their video editing skills.
The award winners and their videos are:
Skylar Powell, short documentary, “Children’s Ministry”
Brecklyn Matthews, short documentary, “Nurses Mental Health”
Hayleigh Horn, Katelynn Burgess, William Hayes, Avery Terry, Brynlee Hollingsworth, Karstan Gooch
Comedy short film, “Marriage Counseling”
Isaac Wade, comedy short film, “The Pound”
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
