Webb City Council approves and advances special use permits
Five special use permits took up most of the Webb City Council’s agenda Monday.
Three special use permit ordinances were passed on final reading. They will allow:
– It was decided that short-term rental is the term that will be used for properties being rented less than 30 days – instead of the widely known franchise names Airbnb and VRBO. A code revision to deal with short-term rental properties will be held at the next Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, on Monday, Aug. 15. First reading will likely be on the council’s Aug. 22 agenda.

The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
