One of the advantages of a website is that you can do your own year-end-review at any time glancing over the archive pages. 

In the navigation menu at the top of the page under NEWS are links to the NEWS, NEIGHBORHOOD, SCHOOLS, OBITUARIES, SPORTS and POLICE REPORTS archive pages. There are also archives for several columnists, including Jeanne Newby and Old News.

I’ve gathered just a few of the top stories of 2022, some of which you may have missed.

Also, the search function (the magnifying glass in the blue bar above each page) is pretty handy to find stories by name or keyword.
