The last time we checked in with Holly Brown’s photography was in 2021 when she won best-in-show in the Focus on Missouri Agriculture Photo Contest.
Brown lives with her family on a farm northeast of Oronogo. She and her 2021 contest photos were featured in the Sentinel in July 2021.
Her photos have continued to be selected. It was just announced that judges selected her latest photos in three categories: “Next Gen,” first place in Everyday Life, “Kenny,” runner-up in Around the Barnyard, and “Dale Yeah,” in Faces of the Farmer.
Last year, she took first place in Faces of the Farmer with “Multitasker.”
Holly’s daughter, Ily, won honorable mention in 2022 with “Give Me a Treat” in the Children’s Barnyard category.
All of the contest photos can be viewed on the Missouri Agriculture Flicker page.
The Webb City Sentinel isn’t a newspaper – but it used to be, serving Webb City, Missouri, in print from 1879-2020. This “newspaper” seeks to carry on that tradition as a nonprofit corporation.
